Milnerton-based trainer Joey Ramsden made it two from two for the Cape raiders in the Champions Season opening feature show when the Australian-bred The Conglomerate stormed home under Anton Marcus in the Jooste silks to win the R600 000 KRA Gr2 Guineas at Greyville on Saturday.

Phillipi trainer Brett Crawford drew first blood in the KZN Champions Season 2015 feature programme when Delma Sherrell’s Dynasty filly Alexis lowered the colours of some serious Gr1 performing fillies to score an impressive victory in the R300 000 KRA Gr2 Fillies Guineas at Greyville on Saturday.

Good news for South African horseracing fans is that the Kentucky Derby meeting will be broadcast loud and proud on Tellytrack on Saturday 2 May, with full betting

The Mike de Kock-trained UAE Derby winner will become the first South African-trained horse to take part in one of the world’s most famous race, the Kentucky Derby, and the action will be screened live on TellyTrack at 00h24 on Sunday morning.
