What streaming device you using?

I am using the Xiaomi streaming stick. The TV that I am using is not a smart TV. I currently stream, DSTV Now, Netflix, Showmax, YouTube, etc by using the Xiaomi. Can also surf the net with it and other streaming services like Amazon Prime. It works perfectly. It costs around R700.

.....have 2 streaming devices newest one 4 years old....only gets Netflix, Showmax, YouTube Prime and so does my 2013 Samsung Smart TV it can no longer getsDSTV Now either....besides spending R700-R1000 on a new device there is still the DSTV or sub.....and with loadshedding..... my solar panels are still moored off Balito....not going blow unnecessary bucks to sit without power.....and a tv wi fi etc also in the dark.....:S

......and so the power problem intensifies.....woke up to 3X2.5hr cuts per day forecast all through the week end and possibly all of next week....hopefully I will no longer require ESKOM from middle of next month.....that's if the solar installer decides to go on an early holiday....scored a 6Kva solar system as part payment of a consultancy gig.... also will have some portable 1100w Li PO battery powered invertors(ideal for loadshedding back up, camping and emergency power).....will possibly test a demo in 1st week of December and if they are up to snuff post review and offer some here.....

Although I'm not a fanatical football fan, I'm thankful that I'll be watching the games with a cold beer in my hand.

TAB’s new Soccer 8 HF kicks off in Qatar

 

TAB is launching an exciting new soccer bet to coincide with the start of the World Cup in Qatar this Sunday.

Soccer 8 Halftime Fulltime (HF) will not only add to the excitement of the world’s best football tournament, it will also provide some great chances to land a big win with TAB.

Each Soccer 8 HF pool will comprise four matches. To win, players must forecast both the halftime result and fulltime result of each match, choosing from the standard three result options: 1 = Team A win; 2 = Draw; 3 = Team B win. The unit cost of the bet is R3 and a single or multiple entry can be played.

The cost of a multiple entry is R3 per combination.

The first Soccer 8 HF pool comprises the opening four matches at the World Cup:

Qatar vs Ecuador (18:00 Sunday)

England vs Iran (15:00 Monday)

Senegal vs Netherlands (18:00 Monday)

United States vs Wales (21:00 Monday)

The bet will utilise eight match numbers (M1 to M8) with an H do denote halftime and F for fulltime after each match number. Use odd match numbers (M1H, M3H, M5H and M7H) for halftime result choices in each game and even match numbers for fulltime predictions.

So, in the case of the first Soccer 8 HF pool:

M1H Qatar vs Ecuador = forecast your halftime result choice/s

M2F Qatar vs Ecuador = forecast your fulltime result choice/s

M3H England vs Iran = forecast your halftime result choice/s

M4F England vs Iran = forecast your fulltime result choice/s

Then do the same for the other two matches.

Please note that the bet must be called to tellers in TABs. Do not use the TAB soccer betting form. So as an example, call your bet as follows:

“Soccer 8 V1 (or V2 - this will be clearly shown with each pool). M1 numbers 2 and 3; M2 number 2; M3 number 1; M4 number 1” etc.

My interest in horses far outweighs my interest in soccer however this premier League season I actually have been watching all leagues broadcast on dstv and having a few bets in my multis and an starting to enjoy soccer... Last world cup I liked Croatia and they made it to the final but I backed them to win I noticed they have alot of players in various leagues probably means nothing but in my travels around the world Croatia is by far my favourite place I've visited and based on that I will be watching them keenly. In the first game I fancy Qatar to win 1-0

There is a bet called halftime/fulltime. You need to predict if Team A will be leading at halftime, Team B or a draw and at the end of the game, who will win or the game be a draw. The odds is nice if Team A or B is losing at halftime but end up winning the game. Sometimes you can get odds of up to 50/1 for a single game.

Similarly there is a bet called Matchflow. Almost the same principle but here it is which Team score first or no goal and what will be the result at the end of the game. Odds can get high as 30/1.

I once was so lucky I managed to predict three games in one day and managed to catch a treble with a permutation. Collected almost 50k. Andy Carrol scored in stoppage time for West Ham to seal my bet.
