Really like the Juliet Tango race 2 and Ultra Quick race 3 double @ 9/2 currently .
Juliet Tango has run to some decent sorts with strong formlines and his main danger Verolina looks beatable once again
Race 3: Ultra Quick loves the inside track and will be hard to peg back , Team Gold has some decent formlines but has never been on the inside track and I think Ultra Quick experience will count

Race (1)
Lion Of The Desert should get punters off to a good start.
Race (2)
Two horse race between Amicus Curiae (van Vuuren) and Verolina (de Kock), the in-form stables at the moment. Verolina had excuses last time, think the way she finished, she should appreciate the extra especially if she gets a position “for nothing”. Amicus Curiae also had excuse on debut and should come on from that run. Just feel if she doesn’t break on terms, she’ll be playing catch-up again. Going to row in with Verolina.
Race (3)
Going on ratings, then Team Gold just needs to pitch up – not sure the current rating was achieved for sprint races, therefore I am prepared to take him on with Ultra Quick. Ultra Quick did quite a bit in it’s last race and ran out of puff in the end. If ridden with a little restraint will be hard to peg back.
Race (4)
Have a soft spot for Remember When, must admit, would love to have seen Lerena ride, maybe that’s an indication she needs the run.
Race (5)
Indlamu looks to be a PA banker, should run in the first three if not winning.
Race (6)
Difficult race.
Race (7)
If Ultra Quick goes well in race 3, we will have a fair idea of how Super Excited should fair. Prince Of Fire has won comfortable enough over the 1000m, should get the extra furlong, going to row in with this one.
Race (
The key is whether you feel Super Agra can concede weight to all her rivals and win, or whether an unexposed 3 year old can roll her. Super Agra should go close.
Race (9)
Merit Rating 66 Handicap is all you need to know. You could try the pin method, picking from a hat, darts, reading tea leaves, and you’d have as good a chance as anyone who has studied the form of this race.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Race 1 Lion of the desert very short price. Another Level was 5 lengths behind on debut must get closer. all except 2/3 must have a shout.
Race 2 MDK runner short price. Yard in form for a change. Juliet Tango looks biggest danger. watch for betting move on number 3
Race 3 i wont bother to unpack a race with a van vuuren coupling. unless u in the yard u have no chance
Race 4 As above. Warship a lot to like
Race 5 Stone cold light weight could be a runner see scratched . change to matterhorn
Race 6 Master of Law was very impressive and handicapper was kind. so could follow up
Race 7 looks like two horse race 6 and 8
Race 8 4 horses with a shout
Race 9 open contest

I see some of the van Vuuren runners have been taken out - for me I think a difficult card - one never knows how ready the rested runners are - and how good the juvenile form will turn out - I'm mostly sitting on the fence until we have had some rain and horses are fitter

Keeping it simple (buying money) today. Took this bet at WSB. Race 1 Lion of the Desert win, race 2 Verolina place (2 places), race 3 Team Gold place (2 places). Comes to 12to10....much easier than guessing black or red on the roulette table!

Hewitson should get a talking to for the ride on lion of the desert. the 1st few 100 meters was more like a crab than a horse

All things being equal, on times (at Greyville) there is not much between Juliet Tango and Team Gold; TG has a rating of 101, so on that JT should win the 2nd in a canter
