Symphony of Light is worth following. I had a bet on it when it won maiden as its half sibling Captain Chorus won on the same day earlier in Gauteng. Although Captain Chorus is by Captain Al it gets 2600m. Symphony of Light is by Trippi so they are definitely getting all their stamina from the damside, Cantabella. Interestingly Galileo is the broodmare sire.

Their other half sibling Austin Creed, has shown nothing to date and is by Var.

Hoping Cantabella visits a classic type sire next.

Durbs, I really don’t understand what you are complaining about-
Favourites won races1, 2, 3, 7, 8. Much better than the average of 1/3.
5&6 were competitive handicaps so no real surprise.
Only race 4 an upset, where the two fancied horse beaten by an outsider. If the well fancied Tout a Fait not squeezed at the 300m, probably wins.

No it wasn't too bad yesterday compared to PE Friday.
Travel Master was the biggest outsider in race 5,only a 6 horse field so a few would have had the field in their bets, and Service Ace was backed from 50 -1 to 25-1 so not totally ignored.
And if you ignored Snaith's comment for the last that Kayc Al only has Europeana to beat, and I'm sure many do nowadays, and added the favorite then you could have got a piece of the R90 000 pick 6.
