P. Peter to win races 1 and 6

It's a bit cooler and overcast today but looks a punters card.

A very interesting card, but maybe not as easy as the betting would suggest.
Race 1Shimmerlindt and Love Bite good form and should fight it out, but respect for Beltway and Quick Run, and a couple of unknown first timers
Race 2 Abbacadabba good debut and the one to beat. Eyes on Tiger and French Rebel the dangers of the raced runners, but a lot of unknown first timers to worry about.
Race 3 Very tricky handicap- no selection
Race 4 Bold Jazz holds the favourite, Willow Express on their run on 27th May, and is my pick. Stormy Winter consistent and must be respected.
race 5 A cracking race with a host of promising 3yos. Any of them could show the necessary improvement to win. A nice race as a pointer to some of the upcoming features.
Race 6 Mufasa is at prohibitive odds- has a big weight for a 3yo and has been rested over the winter. He is obviously very talented, but can he give 7kg to Buck's Fizz and Twice as Splendid? A couple of hard knocking older horses to consider.
race 7 Vaseem and Mr Flood should fight this out. Riverstown now down to a competitive mark, and Chimi can never be ignored.
Race 8 Another very competitive handicap- no selection

First meeting in a while on this track - I think one needs to be a bit wary as to where the best going will be down the straight; Mufasa does look the most likely banker, but as PeterD has mentioned, he needs to give lots of weight away - so maybe Bucks Fizz could prove a danger
