Race (1)
Rowing in with Island Treasure based on adjusted times over the distance. Most are unexposed, so if Island Treasure fluffs her lines, there are a few who could improve and pick up the pieces.

Race (2)
On exposed form, Birdie And Bogie looks the obvious choice, but not a confident selection. Charlie Squadron has had a few attempts at winning and has finished close up, just have a thing against horses who have had many attempts at winning. Raining Again is the danger to my selection.

Race (3)
Thunder Master sees out the trip, wins this. Sunday Island is the obvious danger. Gainsford has let the side down too often, wouldn't be surprised if he did win this, can do so without my money.

Race (4)
Think the pace will determine the outcome of this race. His Choice should be competitive in this line-up, hoping the stable companion is in the race to set a decent gallop.

Race (5)
At the weight turn-around with Infinite Peace, Silent Trigger must be the value and should finish much closer to Silent Peace, if not ahead. Solar Power could be anything first run out of the maiden ranks, watch the betting, stable and jock in form.

Race (6)
Whilst conceding weight to all bar Power Grid, think Masked Vigilante will go close here. Power Grid is the obvious danger.

Race (7)
Stiptelik took on a strong field and wasn't disgraced, however going to row in with Twilight Hour. Looks to be a smart sort.

Race (8)
Young Love looks to be the one to beat, Ma Black the main danger.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Race 1: Charity Ball has to be the ultimate best bet of the century.

Race 2: Grant Van Niekerk riding on a high drawn tree and steps up to the 1200m.

Dealt a double At 26/1

Sunny but moderate temperature, had a few sprinkles of rain this week, but course will be fast. Very gentle headwind.
Race 1. Charity Ball lightly raced so presumably has some problems- fair last two, has a shout. Island Treasure good debut and looks the one to beat with natural improvement. Divine Dynasty two fair runs and should be in the shakeup. 6,7,8 all fair debuts and could improve to challenge.
race 2 Charlie Squadron well tried, drops back to 1200m. Always in with a shout but usually finds one to beat him. I would have thought needs much further on pedigree.
Forever Bill good run when dropped down in trip last time. Birdie and Boogie just beaten in WR race last time- has plenty scope for improvement.
Race 3 Sunday Island costly to follow but on best form can win. Thunder Master good last two, and looks the one to beat. Double Duet a couple of lengths behind him last time, but also scope for improvement. Pace could be a problem with such a small field.
Race 4 Small, trappy field. I think that Arctic Drift is the one to beat.
race 5 Lots to like about Solar Power last run- I think he's on the up and I think is a good bet today.
Race 6 Very open. Wordsworth excuses last time, but well in at the weights on best form
Race 7 Another very tricky race. Twilight Hour could be anything. Stiptelik took on tough company last time and also still on the up. Louis Diamond in good form. These are my short list but anything is possible here.
race 8 Mounia hard to assess, but tough job from the draw last time. I think is the one to beat. Young Love and Ma Black the dangers but an open contest again.

Is it true that a horse which shits in before a race will win.
