The drone footage is redundant - no idea why they persevere with it for in-running production.

Feel they will call the winner a Non runner. Bets stand on Fav who didn't jump.

Now that I have actually seen the start, finally, this is the best and only option to follow.

Embarrassing
the link I am watching shows an aerial drone view for "dramatic" effect - Only on the replay was there a close-up of the jump - All this pony-tail approach to racing visuals needs binning

On such a big occasion, embarrassing is very soft.

Cape Town want to preach to all and sundry how to do cover racing but they do a start from drone, how pathetic :-(

I am in disbelief that they called the favourite a non runner. WOW. Money talks.

what bullshit to have the DRONE pictures showing as " away they go "

had we seen the NORMAL START, we could all clearly have seen the end stall opened EARLY.

by all means show part of DRONE footage as the race progresses..... BUT NOT AT THE START GUYS..... not every CHANGE is a GOOD CHANGE !

If the owners of that winner were some of the vocal variety, in olden days there would have been a riot on the track.

I can only imagine what would have happened in Jhb.
