PRIZE-NITE at Greyville Racecourse

WOW WOW WOW - Fifty thousand rands worth of home entertainment and electronics prizes will be up for grabs on Prize-Nite at Greyville Racecourse on the last Friday of the month for the next six months - and what fantastic prizes they will be.

That’s right, Gold Circle has partnered with the Hirsch’s group to reward its on-course supporters and, starting on Friday, 25 November 2016, the various valuable Samsung equipment and Hirsch’s voucher prizes can by won in the Prize-Nite Giveaway win-if-you lose competition.

And that’s not all Friday, 25 November, is going to be a fabulous evening for the whole family as it will also include the Eat Greek Christmas Night Market featuring fabulous food vendors and lovely local crafts on the Paddock Deck where live music will get patrons “in the Christmas mood” with just one month to go to the annual festivities.

Keeping in the Christmas spirit, the Eat Greek Christmas Market is also appealing to racegoers to support the Robin Hood Foundation’s Christmas For Kids project by bringing along a soft toy which will be given to a child at the Golden Gateway.

So, just what will be up for grabs on Prize-Nite?

The prizes at each of the Prize-Nite racemeetings through to the end of April will be two Samsung Gear VR Lites – four Samsung 40” FHD LED TV’s – two Samsung A9.7” 16GB tablets and four R1 000 Hirsch’s vouchers – lovely prizes that will make you feel like it’s Christmas already.

To enter, patrons need to write their name, surname and cellphone number on the back of any 25 November 2016 losing tote ticket and place it in the TGIF Prize-Nite entry boxes - and do it early. It’s as easy as that.

To complete the ambiance of a great fun evening, Happy Hour and live music will be the order of the day in the Lightning Shot Bar, the popular Braai Zone will be operating for a casual meal and the Kid Zone will be in operation.

And, of course, there will be the usual exciting horse racing.

 If you have never been racing, entrance is FREE to the Theatre of Champions so give yourself a treat and come along and enjoy an entertaining evening.
