Betting Preview for Saturday`s English Premier League

Man United

Football punters have 6 live EPL games to get involved in on Saturday and we suggest a bet in each.

Crystal Palace v Chelsea –

Crystal Palace slipped to 16th in the league after a 2-1 home defeat to Manchester United on Wednesday night. They had previously drawn 3-3 away to Hull and their last 7 league matches have all delivered 3 goals or more. Chelsea extended their lead at the top of the table to 6 points with a 1-0 win over Sunderland away in midweek. They had previously beaten West Brom at home by the same score.

Crystal Palace 9/2

Draw 33/10

Chelsea 6/10

Suggested bet: Over 2.5 goals at 13/20

Palace matches tend to have goals at both ends and I can’t see them keeping Chelsea quiet and expect at least 3 goals.

West Ham United v Hull City – click here to bet

West Ham are 15th on the table with 15 points in 16 matches. They beat Burnley 1-0 at home on Wednesday night and drew 2-2 away with Liverpool on the weekend. Hull City were beaten 3-0 by Spurs away on Wednesday and they are 19th in the league with just 12 points. They have lost their last 4 away matches in the EPL.

West Ham 13/20

Draw 3/1

Hull City 9/2

Suggested bet: Handicap – West Ham -1 at 16/10

Hull look like relegation certainties to me and their away form is appalling. I think West Ham will put them away and win by 2 goals or more.

Sunderland v Watford – click here to bet

Sunderland fought bravely at home to Chelsea on Wednesday but the 1-0 defeat leaves them rooted to the bottom of the table on just 11 points. They had won their 2 previous home matches against Leicester and Hull. Watford are down to 11th after a 2-0 away defeat to City in midweek. They had previously beaten Everton at home by 3-2 but continue to struggle on the road.

Sunderland 16/10

Draw 9/4

Watford 19/10

Suggested bet: The draw at 9/4

While Watford aren’t quite in the relegation zone  this looks a crucial game for both sides heading into the festive season and I think a share of the spoils could be on the cards.

Middlesbrough v Swansea City – click here to bet

Middlesbrough continue to slide down the table and they are now in 17th spot after a 3-0 home loss to Liverpool on Wednesday. They were coming off a 1-0 loss at Southampton but did beat Hull 1-0 at home prior to that. Swansea are 3 points behind Boro on 12 points after a 3-1 away defeat to West Brom in midweek. They had beaten Sunderland 3-0 at home on the weekend and 6 of their last 7 matches have delivered 3 goals or more.

Middlesbrough 23/20

Draw 24/10

Swansea City 26/10

Suggested bet: Both teams to score – NO at 17/20

5 of the last 7 Middlesbrough matches have seen both teams fail to find the net and while Swansea games have been high scoring I am expecting a low scoring tussle here.

Stoke City v Leicester – click here to bet

Stoke are in 12th spot after a 0-0 draw with Southampton in midweek. They had lost 3-1 to Arsenal away on the weekend and their last 3 home matches have seen 2 goals or less and only 1 side finding the net. Leicester were beaten 1-0 away to Bournemouth on Tuesday failing to build on their 4-2 home win over Man City on the weekend. The champions are in 14th spot and have lost their last 3 away matches in the league.

Stoke City 31/20

Draw 47/20

Leicester 19/10

Suggested bet: Under 2.5 goals at 17/20

Leicester games have tended towards 3 goals or more but Stoke are a defensive side and as pointed out above their home matches tend to be low scoring.

West Bromwich Albion v Manchester United – click here to bet

West Brom continue to impress and the 3-1 home win over Swansea on Wednesday was their 3rd successive home win and lifted them to 7th on the table on 23 points. Their opponents Man United are a position and 4 points above them after a 2-1 away win over Crystal Palace, their 2nd successive win after a 1-0 home win over Spurs on Sunday.

West Bromwich Albion 17/4

Draw 11/4

Manchester United 7/10

Suggested bet: Both teams score – YES at 19/20

United are playing well and it is hard to imagine them not finding the net and West Brom are prolific at home scoring 10 goals in their last 3 matches.
