Looking at the Quarter final Results

3 of the 4 winners come from 34 match Leagues

Only Real is from a 38 Match league. And they were fortunate to play another 38 match league.

Is it time for all teams to have 34 match leagues so that Europe is a more fair fight.

Just a thought.

Is it the number of league matches or the tactics in the particular matches that determined the Man City and Arsenal results?

Real Madrid are better organised defensively (with a brilliant manager in Carlo Ancellotti) than the norm that Man City steam roll in the PL and Bayern just snuffed out any offense Arsenal tried to muster after about the first 20 minutes...

in Arsenals case not so much how many matches they played it’s all down to poor management of the players. He starts 9 of them in every match never gives the likes of any of the defenders a break plays a half fit Saka changes a winning formation. The players are almost running on empty. He has imho one of the best midfielders around in Thomas Partey yet just leaves him on the bench. If they don’t beat Wolves tomorrow the fans will be calling for Artetas  head when they play Chelsea at home on Tuesday, then is the NLD against Tottenham
