Yes stand in captain, but also captain incumbent... The team molested in his first match as captain after throwing his wicket away... At his age, I put my cock on the block he is feeling the pressure not firstly to be the leader as per say, but lead from the front... I don't mind people failing initially, but, I like to see them failing by "throwing" their wicket away, as this purely means they have the class, they just need to adjust... When they are no where, get lucky with a few nicks etc and get a score, I don't get excited.... Prime example in my opinion, is Phehlukwayo.... I seriously don't rate him as more than a provincial, fill in national player.... He is not a player to build a team around.... Hope he proves me wrong, but I just can't see it.....

you must be joking,this guy looks so bad,its like he is not good enough to play provincial cricket,yet he makes the proteas team.if i were a selector this guy would only be able to play club cricket.our standards have dropped alarmingly and it is a disgrace to see the players who are now playing for the proteas who lack the class and temperament.i am so disapointed to see our proteas being humiliated by an average indian team on home soil.where are our future stars to take up the mantle once ab,faf,amla and co retire?the future looks bleak for our cricket and we must hope our current stars continue playing for years to come.this capt markram looks pretty avg to me and he will be exposed by the aussies when they play us next.
