i am the biggest protea supporter you will ever find,but even i don't expect the proteas to be competitive in this series.the aussies have the quality fast bowlers to destroy our batters.our bowlers just don't have the same quality and i doubt the aussies will fear our bowlers.our cricket has dropped in quality and intensity over the last few seasons and the new young blood we have coming through just don't seem to be up to the standard that is needed for test cricket.who knows,maybe the old guard can stand up and be counted and spring a surprise,but judging by the indian test series, i highly doubt that.anyway it will be a good series to watch and then we can see where we are on the world stage and see what to do going forward as a cricket nation.

So did Warner( according to his standards),saving himself for this series. I have serious reservations about de Bruyn as a Test batsman as he doesn't move back and across his off stump which this Aussie attack will exploit.
