2 wickets needed to have one open end...India's 8-11 won't get many runs...Pandya at 7 is hit or miss...

It is been confirmed that AB de Villiers did approach CSA just before the squad was about to be announced. They refused on the basis of principal, due to players like Van Dussen, Markram.
This is interesting.
My take he should have given CSA ample notice.

CSA did request that he play in the ODI;s against Sri Lanka and Pakistan but AB opted to play in one or other T20 comp

Good call by not allowing Pick n Play AB to be in the WC squad.
Worse umpiring I have seen since the Aussie umpires stood at both ends in home series
Chris Gatlin of NZ gave Gayle out three times in one over. Gayle sent for the review on all three occasions and was unlucky on two counts for his dismal. Umpires call got him on his 3rd review but the ball before he was out Starc bowled what will be the biggest no ball in the comp, at least 2 foot over the line yet the umpire missed it. Ummmmmmm.

how can somebody mess CSA board around and then think that they can just pick and choose when they want to play for their country. What about the bloke who tries his heart out makes the team then would have been dropped because he got back into the team.
Jealously is the last thing on my mind, its only money , you have had a hard on for me for a long time so if that keeps you happy just keep chipping away

Fingers,AB was one of the greatest players our county has every produced,I doubt anyone blames him for looking after his future and family, but he did say he quit international cricket to spend more time with his family but by my calculations lately he has spent more time away from them pursuing and securing his financial future by playing T 20 tournaments all around the world. He (AB) in hindsight should have said it as it is and not try and please all and sundry.
IMO opinion your sarcastic jibe directed at CNC is uncalled for.Just because someone might have a different perspective or view on something doesn't warrant a personal dig at them.Seems to me you should follow your own advice and be an adult and get a life

IMVHO, this is CSA trying to find excuses so there is no massive sweep out of old wood... If we had won 3 / 3 or even 2/3, i honestly believe we would never have heard a whisper about this.....

West Indies not at all pleased with the umpiring performances in their match yesterday. Some really poor calls from both umpires, in fact shocking calls which cost the West Indies the match. How can the ump miss that no ball, Starcs foot was at least a foot over the line if not more. Gayle was out the next ball which should have been a free hit. Other calls against Holder and Gayle were just as poor.
