Brilliant opening 25 minutes by France, could end up very messy for Scotland

France taking it too Scotland, easy win for them

How’s that try given on a plate to England by the Welsh hooker. It was as if there you go go on a score your first international try. If it were horse racing the stewards would have gotten involved.

As if Italy are not having a hard enough time of it already. The ref trying to make a name for himself by sending off an Italian player for an illegal tackle. I have seen worse tackles in the warm ups than that. Really trying to screw the match and the Italians over. The home crowd, Ireland, appear to be upset as this as a contest is over after 17 minutes. If these laws were in just a mere 5 years ago we would be having 12 a side matches every week.

Need to change the red card rule. Player gets sanctioned after the game and maybe a replacement can come on after 15/20 mins but to go a whole game without 2 full teams just takes away the whole proper contest. Tackles happen extremely quickly at this level and guys make honest mistakes sometimes. That can be adjudged later.

this fiasco should have been anticipated with the current rules
if you red card a reserve front row player you are effectively sending 2 players of
that fact should be another mitigating factor to give a yellow instead of a red card

Would it not play into the hands of serial offenders? The deterrence for foul play has to be harsh otherwise the so-called street-smart / savvy teams will get away with too much...they will coach that which is deliberate as being unintentional...
