Didn't see the race - hard to believe that none of Lago Lida, Super Trouper and Soul Master could find a place - any excuses for any of them?

And regarding Gauteng racing - yes not as strong as it used to be - still I have seen many similar results in KZN over the years

Just had another look at the form of Soul Master's race; on the race on the 5th of March, there certainly is some form that suggest that both Canute the Great (blinkers first time today) and Mathafa could trouble SM today - and there is also form to suggest that Canute the Great could finish in front of Super Trouper - it is there for all to see - but I too was so carried away with the all the experts tipping the 'July nominee' as a certainty that I did not study the race properly.

Had I studied properly I would perhaps have gone for my 2nd best on the day (Millennium Wind) in the 7th in the competition - such is life
