Element, the fact that she will run 1800 instead of 1600 shouts volumes.

The fact that EF ducks the 1800 shouts as loud Barry. Everyone has their limits.

I think we are immensely fortunate to have two such incredible fillies in the country at the moment.

The prospect of getting to see both of them compete on the same day in the same place is just phenomenal.

As Barry has said - they are both talented, but very different individuals. You wouldn't ask Ian Thorpe to run against Usain Bolt and you wouldn't ask Usain Bolt to swim against Ian Thorpe.

We have had the privilege of seeing them in the same field before - why not allow each of them to do what they do best and shine in their own right ?

Igugu is the reigning SA Horse of the Year, and deservedly so imho, so MDK has proved how good she is and has nothing left to prove, except for maybe the Met(tu)

You guys don't get it,it was Delpech that said EF wouldn't beat Igugu again,he probably knew they would never meet again

Hibernia, Delpech did say that, but it was mainly due to the fact that he rode Igugu wrongly, and he admitted so.
But at the same time,the better horse won on the day, and a classy individual as well..
