Some advice I got from wide old man one day he said "you punt them till they lose, not till they win'
that was after a day at Turffontein where lost R18 000 on a horse called Mr Classic it was 8/10 ridden by Muis Roberts had 6 2nd in a row

I played a pick six for R8 000 and bankered it ( was the first leg} so i thought let me take R8000/ 10 000 so if P6 loses I am covered.
guess what happened?

it ran second to a horse called Rin Tin Tin ridden by Frikkie Greyling, i think it was his very first winner, after the race I had to go to the bathroom to rinse my shirt becuase it was soaking whet.

I happened to catch the P6 in BFN a few days before which paid R39 000 last leg was won by Felix Coetzee on a horse tha t was placed in J & b met
so i invested some of that money in the above bets.
for the record my P6 was only out with the first le.leg
