cottonfields is still there i think..its further down the road then hooters..closer to the beach side..good place for picking up mommys! (over 30s lol)

I also knew errol meth very well from the umbilo congella. Arthur lightning trained me at stella as well titch. These were all my dads mates. Alot of good footballers came out of mansfield.

Chris van Niekerk , Neil Roberts , Paul Renou, Butch Van Gas were just a few Mansfield boys that played for Stella and all were top class

Titch, you're forgetting one of Mansfield's GREATEST, Les Salton, did'nt play for Stella though.

Wow now that is a real blast from the past, he had a "hoof" on him that made most 'keepers shake in their boots..Les had a sports shop with Danny Le Roux (another Durban United great) near the old Durban station..

Titch, did you know that Mansfield old boys beat Durban City in the early 60`s? reason being 7 of the City team were Mansfield old boys and gave City a hiding, true story confirmed with Dashing Danny Le Roux and Clive Barker.

Several other boys having the Mansfield=Stella connection., the legendary Douggie Coetzee, ,Dave Kershaw, Kevin Mudie ,Alex Byrne, Robbie De Graaf.
