they are all part of it as are we all part of it. I remember growing up and watching zorro and derrick flynn on the course and how impressive punters they were, len smart etc at wits tatts, the stories Marlon must have and the jockeys, trainers, grooms etc there should be a place for them all to live forever.

even the likes of Des Renou, the sasso brothers, Syd Laird London News ALL PLAYED A PART in SA racing history and folklore

Very true . I would be the first to admit that even Lloyd and Nesius although not my fav, but has played a big part in SA racing.
