Mr H, I can't find any sons of Western Winter in the 2007 Breeders Handbook.

I wonder why not - it will be a sad if we don't find one of his sons to do the job - sometimes i think local breeders are too eager to pay dollars for sires when the proof is there (jet master and Captain Al, london news- if he were given more of a chance) that you can breed a stallion locally especially with all the new blood we have

It is surprising considering Western Winter's success as a stallion and his pedigree. By comparison, there are 3 by Fort Wood - Dynasty, Whitechapel, Whistling Wood plus Horse Chestnut in the USA.

if they don't have the blood you have to otherwise you might just loose your horse - i'll never be able to buy stallion blood so my only option is to try to find a nice quick filly to get into the breeding ranks
