Talking about Striker...does anyone have an opinion as to the best jock in the world?Personally I rate Ryan Moore very highly, but you can't leave out Hughes,Striker and for the hurdles AP Mc Coy.Any thoughts?

Thanks for the reply Easy.I also think AP is the best when it comes to hurdles, but Moore certainly has a way of making winners out of donkeys?

yes but AP did his apprenticeship at coolmore, were it not for his weight/height he would have been a flat jockey. His attitute towards winning would have been the same and therefore for me he would have outridden moore more times than the other way round.
he is just too good, never gives up and HATES losing.

I think you have a point.Leaving AP out of it and concentrating on the flat, who do you rate the highest?

watch the ride by De Sousa aboard Skytrain - I wish the Cape Jockeys would watch that - maybe some of their soft hands will get a little harder with pushing for 600m!!

Talking about McCoy, didn't he give the flat boys a riding lesson a few weeks back (some race where the flats take on jumps jocks) ...??
