Thank you Andrew for posting a genuine, sincere and heartfelt response to Hacker.

I wish you all the best in what is a daily battle.

By way of inspiration - a very good friend of mine is a 'recovering' addict.

A very well respected and successful person in the entertainment industry.

He turned his life around about 25 years ago - and yes he still goes to meetings.

A nicer guy you'll never meet! He is forever 'giving back', as your right, the past is gone but you can make the 'future' as bright as you want.

As for hacker - he has issues, HIS issues, as you or I have issues.

You're doing something about yours Andrew - and that's all you can control.

So keep on keeping on Andrew, and I will certainly support you in any way I can.

Cheers, Jim.

Andrew

Saw you briefly at the Vaal on Monday and you're looking good. Keep off that shit and keep riding the winners. I still remember the night at Greyville you rode a winner for me, your after race comments were "if you are going into a gun fight make sure you are carrying an AK47" after beating Delpech who was on the fav.

Wishing you all the best.

Manna.....I played footie with you in Elsies River when we were both youngsters and your nephew? rode my Met runner this year, but this is not why I defended you on the other thread. My son was also on drugs and only through the grace of God stopped 6 months ago, and hopefully will stay clean. I personally experienced the anguish and trauma the family goes through in this terrible time and can empathise with you and your family. I pray you will continue to rely on the strength that comes from God and not prove others or yourself right, but only God.
You are an inspiration to me, my son and many others. Dont give up despite the attempts of a few to discourage you. I'll meet you again one day at ken or Durbanville and then we can chat. Keep reeling them in.
Regard and best wishes
Jonathan Harris

Great Post.

Now lets forget the hacker and focus on making money at the races with Manna and all his winners.
