Runners today:
Race 6: Blarney Bay. The handicapper has caught up with him, and so the appie is up to get the 4kg off. He is up against a much stronger field than he has met before, but is fit and well and the bit of rain last week will help his cause. I think he is a big runner, but too short in the betting in this field. On best form , Epic Tale is weighted to win, and Bass has 2 other hard knockers.
Race 7: Spanish Tiger. Ran a good race last time in a blanket finish behind Surrey. Has an e/w chance in a very open race. Flash Drive showed a glipse of his good earlier form last time, and together with Playingtheenemy could be the ones to beat.

Greys Inn Control is good value here. I would be prepared to take this favourite on seeing it's rising steeply in class

Guys I know Blarney Bay is all the rage BUT there's plenty with chances...
I'm partial to South Kensington and the mare Irish May but Hammies Dynasty is a massive runner if he does not cast a shoe again and of course Grey's Inn Control will be thereabouts...
