Personal selections :

Race 1, Dream Wolf has run less than 4l to King's Gambit and with J.Nel aboard looks the obvious choice but over 1400m and at 18/10, will be looking at the two 6/1 shots, Sacre-Coeur and Golden Cup.

Race 2, Avoid Maiden Juveniles but will watch the beautifully bred, Elude and Avoid (el Piche and Mango?), with interest.

Race 3, Navajo Joe has good early toe, and may prove too speedy here. Roughie, Run for Bucks and sentimental choice is Zorba's Tale who might not be ready to dance just yet. Ouzo !

Race 4, Another open race. Fancy Lavender Bells and Elvis and co.'s Gap Year.

Race 5, Springbok Summer with Harvey Nics the lurker

Race 6, Classic Oasis looked classy last time and will be hard to beat but Man's Mood and M.Khan could just gel and cause the upset ?

Just an update for the Clan on Gap Year; we were disappointed with her last run, but perhaps she did not get the best of rides; is working well and should be concerned with the finish in a competitive field.

race 6 - no 1 Happy talk can place in moderate field
race 1 place Sacre-coeur

i am sticking with FINANCE MINISTER in very tough race.if he is anything like National Currency he should keep his record intact at 5-1 its a steal
