Mandela was a good person on humanitarian grounds but the legacy of his poor leadership decisions have now been felt. Like a ceo plans for the future Mandela and his policy makers are the crew that put many of the present leaders into positions of power - similarly the effects of the Bush administation will only truely be felt in years to come(as were the decisions taken by his father and Clinton) - a good CEO has the ability to plan ahead(which should be his major focus) and the problems we now face as South Africans including Aids and power shortages should have been forseen years ago - one cannot however excuse the bad policy decisions of the present administration and i shudder to think what fruits their labours will bring in ten years time -

This is merely heresay,so it's hard to know that it is entirely true, but a friend of mine knows someone who was amongst the top brass at Escom a few years back. The reason that we now have power problems is that Escom came to the conclusion(12 years ago) that the SA population would in fact halve because of AIDS by 2008 and therefore there the demand for electricity would in fact decrease dramatically.

A doctor Sher i think brought up the Aids issue years ago in South Africa and it was ignored - bad planning - many countries Usa Uganda UK etc have conqured Aids - we have not becase of bad planning and poor vision - Obviously the previous Administration(National Gov) should have put in steps to curb Aids but they thought only Gays and blacks would contract it so they ignored it - bad planning and poor vision

I used to love Carte Blanche but it has become too depressing to watch.I'd rather bury my head in my computform and find some winners,it keeps my spirits up.

Its important for these pictures to be aired.
Robert Mugabe encouraging the killing of his own black people. They destroy property they want to take over. Wheres the logic ?
Robert must remember the same white farmers made him rich. Now they have nothing.
Dumbass on the century in my eyes.

I have just come back from India, another ex-imperialist colony. It's land mass is just less than 3 times bigger than the size of SA,but it's population is 40 times greater than SA.Admittedly the police presence is huge there, which is where we fall so short here, but you don't get the same feeling of 'entitlement' there that I get here in SA.Those that don't have anything here seem to feel that they can just take what isn't theirs on the basis that they are 'entitled' to it.

One thing is correct what Mugabe said.."Brown is a little speck on the earth"..Brown was not even voted in..Blair just gave him the job when he retired. So in truth both Bush, who also rigged the vote in 2000, and Brown should stay out of it. Its the likes of the UN and the African states that should seek to remove Mugabe and his thugs from power.Mugabe and Bush both put the fear of God into the people..Bush usesd it in 2004 with the terrorist card whilst Mugabe tells the people that the imperialist will come back and take Zimbabwe over..thats why in my book all politions are just SELF SERVING PIGS.

In Zimbabwe there are on a daily basis documentaries of the killing of black Zimbabwe citizens.
If you face this type of propoganda all the time you will surely also start to hate any whites.
The most important aspect of Politics is to controll what the people see and hear every day.
The same use to happen in RSA before 1994, the SABC was controlled by the NP and they could brain wash anybody.
Now during the ANC government you will always see every day a documentary about apartheid and the killing of blacks by whites.
It will for sure fuel racism from the side of blacks onto whites, therefore the hard way of criminal conduct towards whites during robberies etc.
It is just a question of time before the propoganda doesn't work anymore and the people want what was promised to them.(Z I M B A B W E )
