When they limit you to R50, you will be pissed off at yourself for not taking the bonus.

Had a few times with them Rob , never an apology , more like a disgruntled acknowledgement . However have closed my account as was also limited to a few hundred of a horse , just adding it to Sportingbet, WSB and the worst of the lot Bet.co.za

Gambling legislation needs to be revisited.
It's not right that punters are treated like this, especially by supposedly reputable bookmakers.
The whole concept that punters are also only effectively allowed to lose long term also needs investigating.
Government wants revenue,I get that, but we punters pay for the game of racing. Then bookmakers say punters can't win from them either.

Sorry been off the map ............Solo ,I didn't check the exact total TBH.
I was just so happy to be being paid anything!!!!............lol
I must say that Huchergh is on the right track ................we, as punters, are still being "handled" in terms of the rules that existed when gambling debts were unnenforcable and is accepted by punters as "that's the way it is"............maybe that is no longer always correct now that gambling debts are recognised by law.
Another interesting consideration is the relationship between the bookmaking business and the Consumer Protection Act as,in terms of the act, it not acceptable to discriminate between customers,on policy! It has been suggested that the limiting of liability would be an adequate defence ?..........that would be true if they reduce the limits for their entire business, but applying pre-determined varying limits, to different clients ??? That is what I understand the CPA is specifically designed to obviate!
I wonder if anybody has taken an " individual limitation" to the CPA to test the principle,yet.................... surely its worth a try.....cost nothing and if it holds up,that would change the rules forever :woohoo:

Hey Rob
I do not think Betxchange goes so far as to cheat but what I can tell you is that is probably is the least of your problems. Betxchange do not tolerate winners at all. Should you lose to them you will receive A star treatment and think these guys are the best thing since slice be ok and never receive a call bitterly complaining or accusing you of cheating or doing something UNDERHAND OR they don't like. But if you have one or if you lucky 2 winning weeks or a few consecutive winning bets you will receive a telephone call either directly from xxxxx (manager) or one of his cronies complaining bitterly . They might allow you to continue betting if providing you agree to adhere to a whole set of new conditions( ie. bets must be placed at least 5minutes before the bell goes otherwise they will be voided, if its racing or certain sports you win on they will limit your bets here to paltry amounts, or insist you have to phone these bets in personally etc, ect. Even if you stick to these new imposed conditionds but still win then you will surely either recive another call or simply have your account closed or limited to R10 bets, effective immediately. This has happened to me, 3 of my friends and at least 15 other people I have heard of or viewed complaining on other forums. JUts go see goodforthegame forum and other bettign forums to complement what i'm saying. Good luck to anyone who wants to bet there.

Yes agree totally with gambleon's comments. Best advice you will ever get, do not waste your time betting with Betxchange. They are the worst whingers, bad losers and simply do not tolerate winners. Win and you got problems in every way you can imagine. I talk form personal experience too

Best firm around to bet at, is Betting world(HORSES) and sunbet(SPORT). Hollywoodbets apparently has a new bozo of a manger( xxx I have been told is his name) that also will close anyone within a week or 2 if you lucky enough to win there.
