Maybe not as wow worthy as some of those posted but one that comes to mind is Legislate in the Daily News 2000. was 2nd last if I recall correctly, came out very wide and swooped to the front with absolute ease, strength of that daily news was particularly strong too. Was a machine at his peak.

Thanks Naresh. My favourite was Ipi tombe. One of my favourites of all time. I'm sure I've mentioned that somewhere on this forum before! One of my other favourites is Pocket Power. Just loved his J&B wins

There are plenty of feature race winners in South Africa that have come from far back but unfortunately the videos are hard to come by. Ice Cube winning the Grade 1 at Scotsville as a 2yo was brilliant. Hats off to Gold Circle who loads their videos onto Youtube so in years to come we will be able to see them.
