wow that was really amazing to watch those Greyhounds

Just 2 quick questions as I don't know much about the Greyhound Racing

1 - Do the dogs get handicaped and if so how does it work?
2 - Do the dogs carry weights in the "saddle" cloth?

You handicap dogs by giving a staggered start
Trap I is the best dog and gives yards starts to other from 2 to 6 the six dog is on the rails with the biggest start
