Notice Strydom's mount scratched, and strydom rode Mirage of Stars last time out.

Rule 31: Don't back a horse to do what it hasn't, so let me watch how Mirage Of Stars goes over the 1800

Saved by Rule 31 again....Actually, Strydom selecting another mount should have been a clear indicator that he didn't think Mirage Of Stars would make the distance.....some things always clearer after the race.

Have to invoke rule 31 again in the next, too many haven't shown themselves over this trip.


Royal Captive should hold Gold on Gold on form. Should be a cracker, as they're all fine tuned.

Modern Drive was in pole position with 400m to go over 1800m last. But still prefer Alimony, Modern Drive and Tony C the Unknown. Too close to call again
