Don't know how many tons Bob, I know they put about 75-100mm extra sand filling on the track.

You will see the track looks much darker red tomorrow .

I went to walk it today, looks/feels quick

Have the punters in the totes been informed that they are racing on a new surface that "looks" quicker? Great stuff lets sharpen those pins and hope for the best.
