A bit of an odd ride on Chapati there.Pulls his stick out on his ride hand side and seems to want to hit the horse but doesn't then changes to the left and still doesn't give it a smack.I wonder what he was feeling under him.

What's going on here?Take Strydom off and put JP on and it wins,didn't expect that at all.Eurythmics got every chance from the jock,just not good enough on the day.

Eurythmics is very well in herself and has also worked very well.

Bling is injured so we have Striker on Gotoluvher, which is obviously why she has shortened. We have put half cup blinkers on her as per Bling's request after last run. She is working well and should be running on.

Captains Girl wasn't aimed at this race as she has recently returned from KZN. But it would have been silly to ignore this race at the weights.... She steps up in class but if she is fully over the journey, she must have a good chance. The race will tell...

On the card I like the following -
Race 1 - Surcharge- has huge scope.
Race 2 - Man at War - weak field.
Race 4 - Eurythmics - she is a decent sort, but it is a strong field...
Race 6 - Secret Star - won very well last time.
