I have to say that was a very strange ride by JP. After watching the race a couple of times, he seemed to ride Chappaquiddick in stages. Sort of stop & start effort. It was a bit slow away but not a very competent ride. I didnt back it , just my observations. Thats all from me, having a bet on Pyramus then going shopping with my much better half. break a leg guys !!

.....close enough by Bumpy's standards......I will never forget he called a race once which only had 7 runners and called the wrong horse as the winner......I was in my office and laid the last of my telephone betting balance on a horse he never mentioned in the race.....so after hearing this telephone commentary..... I left my office and walked to tote nearby to have a bet or place money in my account....as I get there the results are posted and my horse has won the race.....

I know race calling is not an easy job but jirre man i went to Fairview and Arlington with my Dad from the age of 16 and this bloke was calling then and is still calling now some 20 0dd years later. I know mistakes are inevitable but Black Hall Bar and Half a Bar is worlds apart

Think we all remember the soft ride on Woodstock Fairy last time. I see its running tomorrow R3 against Very limited opposition. It has already shortened in the betting. Still some 2/1 with Interbet & Bettingworld. I think we should back it now !!
