I wonder how close Rocky Coast would have gone if he had had a barrier trial? The way the trials are conducted may not be what punters need but trainers who ignore their value will be left behind - Nothing like giving a baby an educational run to bring them on lengths without betting pressure

James Dean - 2 siblings won 6 times another 5 - maybe not today but worth watching and including for quartets - blackbook it and follow first 3 runs but trainer does not hammer them on debut
