A race review was called into the start of this race with regard to DESERT KITTEN in stall gate 10. It had appeared that this filly had gained an advantage as the start was effected when watching the race live. However after reviewing all the footage of the start including being able to slow down and enlarge the images, it was established that this filly threw her head down and gained forward momentum as the start was effected. The Board was satisfied that all the gates had opened simultaneously, that this was a fair start and therefore took no further action.
