Can't even fire a groom for stabbing your horse nowadays.

It’s also hard to accidentally stab a horse like that when you have thumb and index finger in the scissor holes.

.....that was done with eminence force as one can see the muscle tissue clearly swelling around the area of the contusion....this is a deliberate stab wound and a case/charge of malicious damage to private property should be opened against the offender.....since he and his supporters dont want him to be fired then they can help him pay for damages....

Where the fuck are Phumelela in this whole saga ? The RA protecting the owners rights? All I hear is excuses for a groom that admitted to stabbing a horse with witnesses to his actions. Where are the tree huggers and animal activists........deafening silence. How fucked-up is our industry ? An owner and his trainer are taking a stand against this criminal and they are the villains. WTF? Monday will also be abandoned and so should every meeting till this matter is resolved.

What must be embarrassing for SA racing is that we have this massive conference in Cape Town with 5 star treatment to delegates.

The actual scenario is that in this racing week we have had
Kimberley stopped due to bad track.
The all weather stopped due to rain .
Now the racing stopped to grooms strike.

How more embarrassing could we be in front of international visitors.

If the groom is guilty he must go to jail... but no one has got his story why? Is he not worth the effort? Is it easier to presume him guilty?
This picture could be any horse in the world....

Like I said if the groom is guilty.... stick him away, but show me facts... all I see and hear is a one sided version and poor journalism.

Cheers....
