We can use many examples however there is often no logic to the calls made by this corrupt ANC ruling party 👎😢

The NHA have got this one right, what they got wrong was delaying this until 4 Januray, it should have been immediate.
The problem that they have is the communication, or rather lack of it. This is typical of this organisation who are autocratic and believe that they are infallible. Now we have "insiders" warning jockeys that they are making a mistake taking the Gods at Turffontein on. Imagine for a second these guys being proactive and engaging with the jockey associations ( all 2 of them ) and all trainers and owners, and giving a concise clear reasoning behind their decision to curb travel. Heavy handedness does nobody any favours and these guys need to get off their imagined pedestals.

Are totes allowed to be open If yes its alright for Phumelela and Nha to earn a living but not the jockeys .Nha should drop their Wages to 50% and donate to the covid relief of racing people affected.
Owners not allowed on course but can go to a tote.
Double Standards

Well said Mark. Its once again a mindless rule imo not backed up by any reasonable explanation. Everyone else can drive or fly between provinces but not a jockey!! What about horse movements are there not grooms that travel with horses?

PRESS RELEASE
URGENT APPLICATION – SOUTH GAUTENG HIGH COURT
The National Horseracing Authority confirms that it was the First Respondent in an urgent application heard today in the South Gauteng High Court. The hearing was conducted virtually due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The urgent application was brought by the Jockeys Association of South Africa (JASA), represented by Mr Juan Carlos Lerena, who deposed to the founding and replying affidavits on its behalf.
Background:
The relief sought was that The National Horseracing Authority’s directive dated 29 December 2020, that restricted inter-provincial travel of Riders for the month of January 2021, was to be declared to be of no force and effect.
The National Horseracing Authority responded through an answering affidavit, which was deposed by its Chief Covid-19 Compliance Officer and Racing Control Executive, Mr Arnold Hyde on Friday, 1 January 2021.
After considering the matter, the Judge ruled that SAJA does not have locus standi as they do not represent all Jockeys and that the granting of the relief sought could potentially affect other Jockeys who are not members of the applicant
For this reason the urgent application was dismissed with costs.

I was told by a jockey agent that Tex represents less than 20 jocks. Waste of time and money, what were they thinking going to court?
