Imo the whole process really does not inspire any confidence - can't be that difficult to provide weekly updates on what is happening ?
And the whole 'racing experience' leave a lot to be desired - as Elvis says, what if racegoers only want a pie and a coke ? And the shambles to get in - they have these lists that nobody knows where they originate, as not once has my name been on the list - 'its fine sir, just write your name here'
And who knows what will happen on Saturday - as I understand it, according to the honorable minister, some spectators are allowed at sports events (and Gold Circus has been quick to re-act) - but what happens in Gauteng ? Or does racing still fall under 'Agriculture' - and what does that mean ito spectators ?
On the positive side, we are still racing for a 90k Maiden purse (we have missed out on 3 5th place cheques, but I see this has been re-introduced) - heaven knows where the money comes from - as the pools are not back to pre-COVID levels
