Thanks for replay Bob
I don't have all the facts but my call would have been to void the race.
However life goes on and surely we can catch the pick 6 today .

Its all about consistency - having clear rules in place and acting correctly on those guidelines. This is something that the Jockey Club shoot themselves in the foot repeatedly and they deserve all the criticism that they receive in this regard. Having a read on SP i see a poster referring to a race run at Kimberley that was abandoned due to jocks not hearing the false start call. Why do we have inconsistent calls from the stipes? Why are big days seemingly run differently to normal racedays? When those who make the decisions realise that consistency is all we want, things will improve.

OK we can take the ATC with
The 3 hotties in the first 3 legs of pick 6 and be hopefully happy or we can try and catch the carry over exotic.
My thoughts
2x4x2x1xfieldxfield
Or
2x4x2x 1,2,3,4,6,9 x plenty x plenty
Good Punting

Good day for the punters yesterday, today I think we can beat a few of the hotties
Race 4: Speed Machine
Race 6: Rain In Newmarket
Race 8: Gallic Tribe
A few eachway fancies on the day
Going to be a brilliant days racing

I would have voided the race also!!!
The horse that got the flyer
Took away the chance of the "Front runners"
Had unfair field advantage
Took horses drawn insides rightful position
Then beat the challengers of by getting first run, because of the soft lead

Re: Queens Plate Racing Festival, Friday (07) & Saturday (08)
2 years 3 months agoI followed Shaeen Shaw after he posted his "nap bet-Gimmie Dat" on his show.
I watched the race live and saw MR win easily.
I was content with 2nd place bet until i saw the replay here and my few rands fortuitous tab balance.
Im at home in a very wet Durbs and very disappointed with Tabgolds nonchalance attitude regarding tote betting for the LQP.
Generally betting is opened for local (mostly GP and sometines other venues)and Aus for early mornings
After logging into my account....only 8 Aus venues available to bet on for the 080122.
my next plea ....is there any website anyone can suggest that has similar live payouts / results to Tabonline?
Tabonline was brilliant because they displayed results based on names of horses for all venues
im also hoping that i recover the few bob i lost on GTraveller last time!!!
New link for Tabonline live payouts/results. On the right hand side is previous results.
play.tabonline.co.za/webodds/MobileWebOdds

I understand there was plenty shouting and confusion between jockeys and this should have been the criteria to make the race null and void.

Guys if you want to make money beat the odds on favourites:
R4: Smaller the field bigger the upset
R5: Hoedspruit can beat Do It Again (7 year old)
R6; As this race is over 1800m I think that Captains Ransom is vulnerable
R7: Please do not leave out the smart 3-year olds
