#3 ROLL OVER RED ROVER (12-10 now after trading bigger earlier when betting came out) has had his mark raised to an 82 by the handicapper, but because today’s card was already out before his re-assessed mark after his last run on the 22nd February, he gets in here off his old mark of 78. The trainer has also engaged Sosibo, who is well worth his -2,5kg appie claim. He’s riding with composure and is getting chances with a top stable now. I actually think this horse will ultimately be a lot higher than an 82, never mind today’s 78 mark and he looks the Best Bet on this card and a banker for exotics.

Don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but I'd be a little cautious about taking a short price on Roll Over; he gave me the impression that the tighter Inside Track might not be ideal, and anyway the competition include Golden Prospect (disappointing recent form, but has run only 4 lengths off Royal Victory at level weights), Roll Over's stable made with the Icelandic name (has his problems, but rating dropping), Light of Day (pole position and a good run this track and trip) and the consistent Futurewolff - just my two cents

I do agree, he would definitely prefer the Standside track. However, I feel that this horse has plenty in hand on this field and he's a 4 yr old in receipt of weight from Golden Prospect (who indeed looked promising), but as a 3 yr old has to give weight away to my selection and is at least 10-15 points off his best atm.

That's what makes the game hey; difference of opinion.

I'm not saying young jock MATSUNYANE - OUTRODE Striker STRYDOM, but he did bloody well at keeping Striker at bay.

It sure looked like the 2nd horse might pip the front runner.

well done Matsunyane...... a bloody good ride there, You EARNED your riding fee there !!

I keep away as much as possible nowadays with our racing and when I choose to play It just makes me feel I'm most times just throwing money down the drain.
Lovely run and ride from the 6-10 shot to run out the bipot.

If you look at MR should have won by 6.
You can't trust SA racing anymore.Either the horse isn't fit enough, jockey rides a kuk race or the handicappers have got the MR all wrong. It's a shit show.
