Two horses in the first race payed R1 a place.
Haven't played the tote in years and will continue not to support that entity until this money back for a risk gets resolved.
So in other words I will never play on the tote until I'm dead as they have been told about this a long long time ago but couldn't be bothered to do anything about it.

Number 7 is currently tote favourite...I know that there is 16 minutes to start of race so that will change...25/1 fixed odds...some-one took the wrong horse in error so expect a cancellation when they figure it out ?

I see your point exactly 100 % durbs...... but let me put it this way.

Many a BIIG punter would risk 10G TO win 1g...... especially if it is paying 3 x places..

SO CUE THE REBEL WINS @ odds on....... how many of the big boys would have taken 1,000 / 10,000 a PLACE for this horse....... PLENTY.

How about the really BIIIIGER PLAYERS 10 g / 100 g....... after all u can't make this type of money with the bank can u...... expecially in 60 odd sec...... & i FIRMLY believe the big boys, Werners & co would happily punt a 100 g a place on their horses if they were guaranteed to WIN 10g

durbs 1st Springbok game vs SCOTLAND....... I took a bet i very rarely take.... 1,000 / 5,000 - why cause i believed this was a SURE WINNING BET ! Thank goodness SA turned the 2nd half upside down !

Firstly the punter wants the best price full stop,I'm not here to keep the jockeys and trainers in the game,they chose this profession and they must make ends meet or find something else if they not good enough.
Secondly the Australian tote pays minimum of 1,04...1-25...that is fair in my opinion as so many tell us we dealing with flesh and blood not robots so there is no sure thing in racing.
If the Australian tote can do it,and continues to do it,why can't we?
Just reduce every other dividend on the other horses to make up for the final 1,04 dividend.
