bookies and their BULLxxxx
1 week 3 days ago - 1 week 3 days ago
Good day Mr. Thank you for getting in touch with us at Betxxx. Please note that our trading systems automatically review all customer accounts on a regular basis to ensure that fair and responsible betting limits are maintained across the platform. These reviews take into consideration several factors, including your account’s monthly play, betting patterns, and the average or estimated Profit|Loss trends observed over time. Based on this data, the system may apply limitations that help manage overall exposure and ensure a fair betting environment for all players. These limits are not permanent; they are dynamic and can increase or decrease depending on how your account performs in future assessments. It’s important to note that this process is entirely system-driven and is part of our Standard Risk Management procedures, applied consistently to all customers. The goal is to balance both player experience and responsible trading practices. We truly appreciate your understanding and continued support.
Should your account performance change over time, your limits will be automatically reviewed and may be adjusted accordingly. Thank you
I never asked them WHY I WAS LIMITED – this was sent on their own volition
Can any business be so conceited as to tell you to lose, then we may increase your limit
Just a pity that bookies are not compelled to tell their customers they lose too much and their deposit limit is decreased
And then there are punters who will tell me to have a good relationship with a bookie, then I will have no problem - I’m too scared of a STD

If all the exotic bets were taken on the tote then our pools would be at least 5x bigger and you wouldn’t have to put up with this nonsense.
For decent sized fixed odds win bets, I have had an account with a family owned and run bookmaker for many years, no “system limits”- real people. They understand that it doesn’t matter which client wins so long as they run a balanced book, turnover is their profit driver. Fixed place bets in SA are mostly a joke as the odds are invariably worse than the mathematically correct price.

Peterd, most of the time I take my P6 with the tote.
But there's always the odd time I have no money in the tote... but ,only with the bookmaker as wat happened last Sunday... and I
I was a P6 winner that day.

Definately agree! Everyone would be better off if all exotics were taken directly on the tote.
@PeterD - If your bookie wouldn't mind - you should share the Company as they should receive more support for the fair treatment of their customers.
Are limits on how much you can lose in the online casino limited aggressively like the horse racing and sports bets? (Asking for a friend).

.....then again the up country tote is still a bit glitchy and one still needs a back up option at an open bet merchant....just yesterday the tote caught a wobbly while I was trying to deposit a voucher....and I was between a rock and a hard place as WSB was my other option
.....I also recently opened an acc at BetXXX but their website was also far too alien for me....thankfully the tote straightened up after 20 min of frustration and my deposit was eventually accepted.....

Yup, open bet is the answer ... BUT ... there is no impulse to fix the admin section of the tote. Deposits, withdrawals and helplines.... The bookies are STREETS ahead in all those departments... as well as the ease of placing a bet. Punting is a LEISURE activity.. one should not have to get high blood pressure participating in ones leisure activity.

I see the car comp on the tote shows how many tickets its has. Over 25 bar would've had to be spent the racing pools remain the same so its safe to say the majority is going into the soccer pools but the car is won only by attending the race day. Wierd dynamic

Interesting point you raise Mr Magi, why have Race Coast not made Tab Gold more user friendly in terms of payments to clients??? I have not had a problem however I am aware of the problem you experienced.
I use two betting outlets, Tab Gold for all exotics, swg, exacta's & qtets and Hollywood for multiples and multiples in the golf majors. Hollywood does limit my straight win bets and the larger multiples however nothing I cant live with. Should they get restrictive with limits I would not be happy but in fairness no bookmaker should be allowed restrictive limits. I have not met Lance Michael but will probably open an account with him, comes off as an authentic straight shooter from what I have seen.
The other bookmaker sites that I have had a few bets with and stopped using have all these complicated bonus structures which ultimately i just ignore because they aren't worth the PT when it comes to the fine print conditions.
If James Goodman is even partially correct regarding the bookmakers pocketing the tote bets then punters have themselves to blame, i can assure you that the old argument of the Tote take-out being too much is a joke compared to what bookmakers take-out of the open bet. I am also very suspicious of the current pay-outs on the tote and the violent odds shifts that we see. Who is taking the price on the Tote late??? There are pay-outs that are very low for horses at healthy odds and horses backed in late.
Bookmakers that limit winners should be exposed, reported and investigated, maybe then a proper overview will be revealed. Bookmakers in my opinion still operate in a cosey hidden manner, when will there be a proper investigative report? It is no co-incidence that there are so many new players.

1 week 1 day agoLOL - REALLY? - try another bookie, and I can honestly say I have very, very seldom won more than 3 or 4K on any one event and I have been punting for 65 yearsfairness no bookmaker should be allowed restrictive limits. I have not met Lance Michael but will probably open an account with him, comes off as an authentic straight shooter from what I have seen.
Anyway, fuck them all.

My frustration would be the fixed place price offered by bookies.
long gone are the days of 1/4 the odds for a place and understandable that was for 16 runners in handicap but the current odds are very poor.
Plus if u watch the tote and you might find a bit value but this moving target is impossible to catch right as the odds tumble on the winners?
