Boxing Day at Kempton

Boxing Day at Kempton Park đđ
Good evening, Clan.
Iâm sure most of us will be enjoying some quality family time over Christmas â and probably eating and drinking a little more than usual đžđ
That said, I wanted to kick off an early thread for one of my favourite race days of the year: Boxing Day racing.
One of the highlights of my racing life was being a guest of Betfair in their private box at Kempton on Boxing Day â an unforgettable experience.
Itâs a massive punting day across the UK and Ireland, with 11 meetings to choose from, plus a local South African meeting at Hollywoodbets Greyville also in the mix.
I usually focus on a few strong ante-posts and a couple of proper hotties đ„, and this year is no different.
đ Kempton Highlights
The Kempton card is ultra-competitive, with several stars beginning their build-up towards the Cheltenham Festival:
Noble Park
KitzbĂŒhel
The Christmas Hurdle looks fascinating.
Sir Gino is a hot favourite, but heâs been off the track for a year â always a question mark.
Then comes the King George, where you could make a case for almost every runner:
Gaelic Warrior, ridden by Paul Townend, can beat Fact To File
Jango Baie is no slouch
And Harry Redknappâs The Jukebox Man is a fair sort too
Over at Leopardstown, keep an eye on Romeo Coolia.
â€ïž A Personal Favourite
One of my all-time favourite races is the Christmas Hurdle, and one of my favourite horses ever was Harchibald.
You couldnât use a whip on Harchi â he always looked like he was cruising, often tempting you in-running⊠only to flatter to deceive more often than not.
Below is one of my favourite races ever. Sit back and enjoy đ

Let me say Paul and Willie gave me some relief and a spectacular round of jumping. đ
