Perhaps. He has covered the Turffontein 1000 metres in 54.96 and 55.08 seconds though - a bit of low flying. Still, a speed duel probably wouldn't be wise.

What's wrong with Mythical Flight? Guys in studio saying before the race that they knew he wasn't 100%.

Poor run. The bumping he was involved in was well after he was already beaten.

EDIT: Ah, something about not being fit yet. Seems odd to run in a Gr1 of this calibre in that case.
