garrick your horse ran 2nd in the cape derby behind bcl and then you purchased the half brother by silvano i think so why so sour towards ownership

Pirates - If I did not own a horse and simply criticised ownership I think you could safely call me 'sour to the game'. But I continue to own/buy and support an industry which, frankly, does little or nothing to encourage continued support and loyalty.
You only have to read my post entitled 'Ballsup South Africa' to see that they cannot even facilitate payment on a purchase without the customer being inconvenienced.
As to the horse which ran 2nd in the Derby - I owned a third of it and got a keep and vets bill after that race which pretty much took care of most of what it had earned.
So I remain pretty much convinced that I am, at best, a patron - somebody who sponsors anothers living without much expectation of a return.
