I think that Afghanistan are going to shock one or two teams in this world cup. They have some very good players.

Pity that Australia play them at the WACA. Watch for a possible shock of all shocks when Australia play Scotland in Hobart. If the wind blows and it has rained in the days leading up to the match it could play into Scotlands hands.

In 1999 World Cup little Bangladesh beat the mighty South Africa. Ireland beat Pakistan in the 2007 WC , Kenya beat the West Indies in the 2003 comp. Anything is possible in cricket so believe me when I say that little Scotland will win a match or two

SA, Aus and NZ look very good going into this World Cup. Disappointed with the format as the tournament only looks to heat up when we get to the quarterfinals. The may be the odd upset and teams like the WI might miss out on the quarters but in effect the it is 6 World Cup practice matches before the knock out phase. Should be some good cricket anyway. Hope SA can pull this off and get that monkey off their back.

A week to go and here in Scotland you would never know it. No mention on the news or in the papers. I was in Los Angeles the week before last and you heard more there about the cricket world cup than here. Strange people the Scots.

still unhappy about who is our number 7 I cant have berhadien or parnell...would have preferred McLaren or chris morris ...I hope they play 7 batsman and 4 bowlers which would include riley rousow somewhere ..let duminy bowl his full 10...
