Brilliant effort by Guptil. Gayle looking good but a massive ask.

dropped when he was on 4 by Samuels - and Samuels goes out to a miracle catch on the boundary when going well !!

One day "cricket" has become a joke...
Martin Guptill and Rohit Sharma have higher one day scores than their best test scores...ridiculous what has become of one day cricket...

its all the fault of the Proteas. If they had not won the 438 game things would have still been normal. Not long before we see 450 posted. 500 is a possibility and it wont come as a shock when that happens.

Flat wickets, two balls, short boundaries, fielding restrictions, thicker bats with even thicker edges...it has all become a bit of a joke...my interest is waning and soon if will be non-existent...
Average batsmen are now excelling and good bowlers are looking ordinary...the administrators have gone mad...

Right or wrong,i fully agree
It is all about the bottom line
Higher scores and bowlers struggling
The bigger the sixes the louder the applause
And the crowd come back for more

I understand that rule changes are coming for 1 day cricket to try and make the game a bit more balanced. Allow the bowlers more latitude on deliveries and soften up the short ball rule.
But has been awesome to watch.
