thanks guys.if it were my choice i would go with abbot only because he is fully match fit and we need a full strength bowling attack to beat these aussies in oz.

I must agree, Abbott is the choice atm. Only because he has a few overs under the belt... Morkel is a champ on the Aus wickets, unfortunately, he needs many many overs under his belt to grow in confidence and hit his best line and lenghts...

Great 1st session today. There is still something in the pitch for the bowlers, so its not a total batsmen paradise imo. Great to see the fightback continue. Another wicketless session and we can then up the tempo for the last session this afternoon.

i hope u are correct and i would be over the moon if we can get to a 400 run lead by the end of the day as i think that total will be difficult for the chasing side.

Anywhere else in the world the ground would stand up and clap Duminy off the pitch after that knock but not in Australia, the worlds biggest sore losers

Can't see the Aussies getting these runs. Proteas to win by 200 plus runs as those cracks will come into play big time on the last day

Its going to be interesting once the ball starts reversing coupled with the cracks. More and more balls are deviating off them the longer the game goes on..

If he continues to grow after his debut, Maharaj looks to have a good few years as the Test spinner. Been very impressed with his consistency on the Aussie wickets. And he is no mug with the bat. So its another all arounder in the line up. Good for SA cricket.
