I know its international cricket, but it will take a game or 2 to get back to top gear.. lets remember, more than half of our team have not been on the field for a while. Only AB, Amla, Morris, Rabada and Tahir really got games in the IPL, Miller and Du Plessis played 2 and 3 games early in the tournament and have been sitting on the bench.. England have had a couple warm up games, so should rightly have been the "more ready" team.. Give the boys a match or 2 and they will be firing again...

I guess I want the boys to win every thing :P....... dont mind we lose this series and peak during the trophy :woohoo:

Duminy and Miller picked out the only fielder on the onside. Morris played a pathetic shot so early in his innings. They suppose to take the game more deeper before slogging it out. 70 of 6 six overs these days is very achievable. Duminy form is off form badly. They rather play Behardien instead of him.

I think the fixing committee should look into this one......easy to back England at 6/1 near the end.

England was high as 28/1 when it was 10 of 10 needed. Behardien and Duminy are the weak links at the moment. Morkel for Behardien although we be a batsmen short our all rounders can do better than them. The key though is food one of the top five batsmen to get to the 40th over. 100 off the final 10 is very gettable with our all rounders or of if we bat first we can really slog it out.

Maybe peaking at the Champions Trophy is better :cheer:

When it was 10 of 10, at least twice they could have pushed for two. Well done to Morgan for the review which disrupted the momentum of the Proteas. In the last over you suppose to run for byes.

I was happy with the performance but Behardien and Duminy in my opinion should not play in the Champions Trophy although Duminy is due for a big innings.

Morris tried to hit every ball out of the ground instead of just knocking it about. Best ODI side in the world? Not a chance

Agreed, we shouldnt have lost that game, but will refrain from having a go at Miller + Morris, I I feel did well to get us in that position. I will (like Naresh) have a go at Berhardien. I truley feel that had he not walked into bat, we would have strolled in... You get selected as a "finisher". You come into bad needing not too many, but still a fair amount.. you face just over 4 overs and have a strike rate of 68 putting more pressure on the others...

To be fair to the man, he is a good domestic player, but he is NOT an international player by any means.

i have to agree with about behardien.he is just not good enough, but the real problem is the form of duminy.who else is available to fill this position in the team?i would still choose duminy over behardien going into the tournament starting in june.

Yet again de Villiers wins the toss and fields. Just on that score the Proteas did not have a chance.

England now starting to look a good bet for the champions trophy, although i would not write off the West Indies, Sri Lanka and NZ. I believe that the winners are more likely to be England but any of those other 3 mentioned can do it. SA will choke as per usual, unrest in the Aussie camp, India are shit scared of fast bowling and Pakistan blow cold far too often. Bangladesh may surprise and reach the semis.

I shall lay you any price on the West Indies bud :) Sky's the limit :P

That's if they play a game
