Ashes 2nd test
8 years 9 months ago
Lords on Thursday ,the Engelsmen have named an unchanged squad and the Aussies seem to have a few niggles and possible changes..
Not an expert so don`t understand why England are not Favourites?

Watson has to be dropped from the Aussie side. England will go into the match full of confidence but will have to be very careful of Johnson who will come out fighting. Should be a good match (if the flipping rain would only stay away)

Aussie 566/7 dec have already picked up their first wicket in the very first over. England could come a cropper here

Listening to the opinion of English press was the wicket was too flat and just too easy to bat on ......................they should have told the English batsmen (or Aussie bowlers)
It is amazing, in cricket, how often the pitch gets the blame .............until the other side bats!

CNC I take it you backed the draw?
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

I don't bet on the cricket Bayern as it would spoil my sheer enjoyment of watching the game.

Great sportsmanship shown by the England w/c when walking. Maybe hotspot would have got him but this is the 3rd time he has walked. Other players should take note as there are some who will just stand there even though the world knows that they have nicked it. Others when trapped LBW used the review system even though they know that to get it overturned will be near impossible (umpires call). Selfish players who only think of themselves and not the team.
