After this weekend I have changed my mind.

Burnley, Southampton or Liverpool and United.

Well after the 1st round MU will be favourites to go down .

Listening to the build up to last nights game , The value of the 11 players in Burnley cost +- 6 million and Chelsea +- 300 million

I hope for my mate that supports Newcastle that it is them as he then knows he does not have to hand over a bottle to me come the end of the 2016 season as he has for the past 8-10 years:evil:

Very hard to say this early in the season with a possible 13 candidates imo who could all find themselves in serious trouble if getting into a bad patch. Unlikely that either United or L'**** will be among the 13.

Don't be kidded by Swansea's win at OT, they took advantage of a situation well against a very "limp" on the day opposition but I think they could be struggling come the season's end. It will have bolstered their confidence though so their next few games could determine their season.

My full and honest as I can be 20 is probably not too far off how they finished last season, which is often the case when trying to do a prediction this early on...

Chelsea
Man City
Arsenal
Man Utd
Liverpool
Everton
Tottenham
Hull
Southampton
Sunderland
C Palace
Stoke
Leicester
West Ham
A Villa
Swansea
Newcastle
Burnley
WBA
QPR

I hope that you are wrong about QPR because I have a soft spot for them. Just took a treble at nice long odds on City Shrewsbury and Orient to win their leagues. Cant decide about the championship.

United are in the poo and national team managers rarely do well when they go back to club football for a retirement cheque. They will hopefully stay up because as the late Mike Doyle said the last time they went down. "I am devastated, that is 4 guaranteed points gone"

I wouldn't go there if I was you Chris :) United are in the poo only by the extremely high standards that they themselves have set over the last 25 odd years. Comparative to City over the 40 odd years since Mr Doyle made that comment I would say United are still in a very healthy position.

Don't think when he made that comment Mr Doyle realised that United would be back a year later and it would take roughly 35 years before City actually managed to do the double over United. Or that by the end of the century City would be in Division 3 and, albeit only for one season, their so called Manchester is Blue ever so loyal supporters would allow their average attendance to dip below 20,000? Sometimes it is better to stay quiet rather than speak potentially rash words and have them come back to haunt you...

And on that note, I shall, with (or without lol) your kind permission, leave the "debate" as there are plenty other threads where clanners can talk their "whatevers" about United :)

PS I have a few mates who are Rrrrrrrr's supporters and quite a few of them hate the Premiership. They won't be so sad to go back down again.

Chelsea are past the post in the race to the title with the Special One in charge, its just a matter of putting the number in the frame and its Europa League again for Man U next year
